I think what you said isn't more apparent anywhere other than Rin's H-scene in UBW. Heh, saw that one, its not translated, so i have no idea what it was about, but it looked interesting. He just needed the right (horrifying violent sex/rape/torture/sadism/masochism) scene for his strange "sex feels like dying" descriptions to make sense.
